Join Opera Holland Park on Saturday 23 May from 10am for their Virtual Open Day, a day of interactive online workshops, music and activities for all the family. Free to join, online activities include conducting lessons with conductors Matthew Kofi Waldren, Dane Lam and Lada Valesova; a fun and interactive dance class with BBC Dancing Town’s Steve Elias, a series of Q&As with cast and creatives, a family workshop and a tongue-twisting finale with the OHP Chorus.

All activities are free and will be available for you to enjoy across OHP's social media channels on the day (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube). Other activities will be hosted on Zoom and for these interactive sessions, you must book your place in advance.

Activities include:

Family workshop: A Masked Ball at 10.30am

Join the OHP Inspire team for a fun and creative family workshop aimed at ages 0-5 and children with SEN. This interactive workshop will take you through the events leading up to the masked ball in Verdi’s Un ballo in maschera. Bring cuddly toys and a sense of adventure, and don't forget to book your place in advance.

Dance class: Strictly No Lycra - 11.45am

Join BBC Dancing Town’s Steve Elias on the dance floor (and by dance floor we mean your living room) as he leads this fun dance class for all ages and abilities on Zoom. Encourage your family and friends to join in too and use this opportunity to connect during lockdown. All you need is a little bit of space to move in, a sense of humour & some comfortable shoes.
