Light Up Leicester

Thursday 5th - Sunday 8th March, throughout Leicester city

Light Up Leicester is a brand new festival for the city’s cultural calendar. From 5-8 March the streets will be filled with illuminated art which can be ‘played’ with, as part of this, free, four-day festival. This new festival will light up the city with a trail of free interactive artworks!

Discover's London Children’s Book Swap is back for the sixth year running for even more bookish fun. To coincide with the weekend of World Book Day, this year’s Book Swap will be on Saturday 7 March, to really celebrate all things literary.

Join for a FREE day. Bring an old book and swap it for a new adventure between 11am and 4pm, plus play all day in the centre's Story Worlds, Fairy Tales immersive exhibition and 0-3s Storytelling: Drip Drop.
