In a fast-paced technological world of DMs and videocalls, the ways we communicate are constantly evolving. Letters are a way to document and archive our own existence.Poet Mandla Rae invites people from an asylum-seeking background to write and perform Letters to our Mothers and Fathers, to explore the ways we interact with our families.
What are the things we don’t say and why?
What are the effects of culture and tradition in communicating with our elders?
This series of workshops will end in two intimate performances for audiences to enjoy.
